New Maryland Adds ‘In Motion’ Messages to Sidewalks
This summer the Village of New Maryland added inspirational messages of encouragement to their Village sidewalks. Check out the photo below to see an example of these. Pictured on the right is Mayor Frank Dunn and on the left is Recreation Committee Chair, Councillor Scott Sparks.

A guided active play program for children 5 to 12 years old
New Program in Fredericton Area Promises to Keep Kids Active
This guided active play program is designed to engage children in the simple pleasures and benefits of regular physical activity. Children in the program engage in a variety of FUN, interactive and non-competitive physical activities which are intended to foster self-esteem, confidence and a positive self-image. Activities are guided by supervised Kinesiology students.
When? Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30 to 6:30 pm
Monday, January 16th to Wednesday, April 4th
*No sessions March 5th & 7th
Where? UNB’s Lady Beaverbrook Gymnasium (Main gym, 1st floor)
Cost? $65 & includes cool KIN KIDS t-shirt!
(or $35 for one day per week)
* Financial support available to children requiring assistance
