Statement of the values of the HEPAC
HEPAC is a coalition of government and non-government organizations that collaborate to foster positive change related to healthy eating and physical activity in New Brunswick. HEPAC’s values are: Commitment, Partnership and collaboration, Inclusion, Integrity, Purpose, and Progress.
HEPAC works together with shared vision, engagement and passion. HEPAC is inspired by members’ engagement in the coalition and the positive changes in healthy eating and physical activity that result from partnerships and collaborations.
Partnership & Collaboration
HEPAC recognizes that fostering positive change related to healthy eating and physical activity will only occur if partnerships and collaborations thrive. HEPAC embraces its unique and pivotal role as facilitator and catalyst for meaningful action among its many partners.
HEPAC welcomes all partners to contribute to its shared vision. HEPAC engages partners that represent New Brunswickers linguistically, culturally, geographically and across all abilities.
HEPAC acts respectfully, honestly and openly. In its planning and actions HEPAC considers the best available research evidence, the needs and capacities of its partners and the experiences of New Brunswickers in their communities. HEPAC is committed to rigour, accountability, monitoring and evaluation.
