The webinar will summarize key findings from a project that was undertaken by the University of New Brunswick to understand active transportation in the urban and rural contexts of New Brunswick. A series of case studies of New Brunswick municipalities were performed, as well as a study of active transportation trends in New Brunswick and surveys administered to community officials and disability organizations. The project aimed to contribute to the designing and planning of the built environment in a way that will move New Brunswick towards active and age-friendly communities.
