Since 1957, UNB’s Faculty of Kinesiology has a reputation as a national leader in kinesiology, recreation, and sport by taking a comprehensive approach to the study of human movement, from cell to society. UNB Kinesiology students learn how the body works optimally through physical activity and health, with the goal of developing positive wellbeing of individuals across a variety of settings (e.g., workplaces, schools, care facilities). Students apply their understanding through working with diverse populations, leading and delivering training and programs, and/or conducting innovative research in many active settings including Recreation Services, Varsity Athletics, Occupational Performance Laboratory, Cardiometabolic Exercise & Lifestyle Laboratory, Human Performance Laboratory, Max Health, KIN Kids, Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic – High Performance Centre.
